Position Title:Vendor Distribution Sales Representative
Role Status: Full Time
Location: Maluafou, Apia and Salelologa, Savaii
Reports to: Distribution Sales Manager

Position Summary:

Responsible for establishing, coordinating, monitoring and developing the Company’s working relationship with stores and vendors to achieve distribution sales targets

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Echarge sales targets within the defined region
  • Responsible for managing vendor relationships
  • Responsible to opening of new outlets within the defined region and meeting new outlets targets
  • Grow the echarge revenue within the region
  • The key point of contact between Bluesky and its vendors customers
  • Responsible for making  regular visits to stores and vendors to fulfil vendor demand
  • Maintain constant communication with vendors and stores to ensure high level service is maintained
  • Implement sales campaigns and promotions developed by Marketing
  • Monitor and Report on competitor activity
  • Responsible for Bluesky brand visibility
  • Responsible for handling cash and daily banking
  • Undertake other duties as and when directed within the scope of the role and capabilities of the incumbent and abide by all relevant policies, procedures, standards and legislation as they apply to the position.

Key Requirements and Competencies

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Diploma in Business  Management, Marketing/Sales or related field

OR an equivalent of 2 years relevant work experience in retail distribution, sales or customer service environment .

Knowledge/ Skills /Ability:

Essential

  • Clean Police report with a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be honest in handling cash and stock
  • Excellent communication (English and Samoan) and customer service skills
  • Goal oriented, self motivated and ability to work well independently
  • Flexible to work varying shifts as needed (after hours and weekend rotations)
  • Highly motivated and has the desire to sell and achieve sales targets
    • Ability to effectively communicate product features to vendors

Desirable

  • Flexibility to work after hours or weekends if needed for work related tasks and assignments.
  • Ability to promote harmonious working relationships with Company personnel and outside business representatives

  • Identify new hazards and advise manager or workplace Health and Safety representative/coordinator within 24 hours of identification.  
  • Accurately report incidents and accidents to manager or workplace Health and Safety representative/coordinator as soon as possible.
